Lighthouse Commission — South Square

South Square Centre in Thornton commissioned Raven Staging to give its courtyard and newly refurbished garden a nautical theme, across two pieces.

The lighthouse was designed to slot over a period Victorian lamppost, so the existing structure became the lighthouse and its lantern became the working light at the top. We fabricated and finished the body in the workshop, then installed it over the lamppost in the courtyard.

The garden piece was a full boat set into the bed, appearing to surface through the planting. Both were fabricated and installed by Raven Staging.
