The Doha Debates is an internationally recognised platform for open dialogue on global issues, brought to Bradford as part of the Bradford Literature Festival's headline programming across 2024 and 2025. Raven Staging was commissioned to faithfully recreate the original Qatar set — a brief that demanded both precision fabrication and an understanding of broadcast production standards.
The centrepiece was a seamless white circular stage, fabricated and finished to remove any visible joins, with integrated LED detailing running through the structure and bespoke circular perspex infills completing the design. The set was further furnished with bespoke furniture pieces, all finished to international broadcast standard — the same specification used for the original Doha productions.
The result was a professional broadcast-ready environment delivered within festival conditions, indistinguishable in quality from the original — a project that required close attention to detail at every stage of fabrication, finishing, and on-site installation.
